Pacquiao aims to
silence doubters

Manny Pacquiao has more at stake than his World Boxing Organization welterweight title when he takes on unbeaten American Timothy Bradley tomorrow -- he has his reputation on the line.

Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach didn't mince words when he said the Filipino ring icon would be fighting to regain some luster after his controversial majority decision over Juan Manuel Marquez last November.

"Manny's motivation is his last fight. We had the first bad fight we had in 11 years," Roach said. "He wants to prove to the world he's not washed up."

The Huminova Tigers overcame a first half deficit to drub AACI Farms, 107-81, and Royal Star Trading hold off AACI Transport, 89-81, in Class A of the 2012 Fil-Sino All Asian Countertrade 1st Conference Inter-Color Basketball Tournament at Tay Tung High School Po Hang Gym.

The Tigers are playing AACI Trading as of press time to determine the No. 1 team.

Clarence Quingco and Nico Lopingco fired 11 points apiece in the first half to give AACI Farms a 49-46 advantage at the break even as Badong Eufre led a balanced offensive for the Tigers with seven points, while three other teammates posted six points each.
