Inauguration

The lone British insurer in the Philippines – Pru Life U.K. – opened its newly-renovated branch, headed by Dindin Valmayor, in Bacolod City recently.

On hand to cut the ceremonial ribbon were guests from the Manila head office, led by Bryan Evangelista, sales director for south Philippines; Divine Furagganan, national sales director; and Max Joaquin, chief distribution officer.

Rev. Fr. Abenir Pineda blessed every nook and corner of the spacious and comfortable office, not to mention the new office equipment, followed by the group singing of the office staff and agents, a short talk from the officers and a welcome and thank-you speeches.

A delicious lunch followed the thanksgiving prayer, with Marili and Dodong Bascon supervising and entertaining inquiries about the mouthwatering dishes they prepared.

Several officers were busy explaining the company mission and vision to the newly-recruited agents, while Lindy Lacson took photos for souvenir, events project and publication.

At 2:30 p.m. that day, head office-based officials and guests had to rush back to the Bacolod-Silay Airport for their return trip to Manila.*
