The Make Your Own Havaianas 2012 at the SM City Bacolod Events Center starts today until Sunday.
As the brand celebrates its 50th anniversary, Make Your Own Havaianas 2012 is geared to be the most special one yet, a Havaianas press release said.
“We believe that every Havaianas pair that you own has a story to tell, and all those stories combined from our fervent supporters play a big part in the brand’s history. For this reason, Make Your Own Havaianas will not just be a branding event where they can design their own pair, but a gathering that will honor everything that contributed in making the brand what it is now,” Anne Gonzalez, Havaianas Philippines managing director, said.
In true Havaianas fashion, self-expression has never been this chic with its thirteen special pins that speak volumes of its heritage, the press release said.
The happiness, 1962, Brasilipinas, soccer ball, and crown designs among others, all trace back to its roots in Brazil. Embellish these on soles that run the vibrant spectrum of the rainbow: from a pop rose, to an ice violet and lemon green, to the exclusive Make Your Own Havaianasestampas sole, these all remind you of the beautiful bursts of sunshine on a warm summer day, the press release said.
“Aside from being a long-standing icon of summer, Havaianas also banners Brazil’s spirits through its eclectic designs and dazzling colors. Its vibrant varieties have also complemented the charm of countries that are blessed with sunshine all year long, like the Philippines,” Ammiel de Leon, Marketing Head of Havaianas Philippines, said.*
