| Toyota poised to clinch No. 1 With only seven playing days to go in the eliminations, frontrunner Toyota-Bacolod stays unbeaten as it flattened Angels Burger, 93-66, to claim its sixth win Tuesday night in the PROBAC/LNA7 Invitational Basketball Tournament at the West Negros University gym. With its 6-0 win-loss card, Toyota-Bacolod strengthens its grip on the No. 1 spot in the team standings, virtually assuring the team a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals. Tournament organizers said the elimination round will end on July 23. In the game against the Angels, Toyota took an early 26-14 lead in the first quarter with Kempee Lagrason hitting 10 points, while Henry Subebe and Philip Abong combined for 11 points.
