| 2011 POC-PSC NAT’L GAMES With Efren “Bata” Reyes falling by the wayside as he absorbed a 7-9 quarterfinal defeat at the hands of Bacoleño Ramil “Bebing” Gallego, 2010 World 9-ball runner-up Jeffrey De Luna captured the gold in the 9-ball billiards competition of the 2011 POC-PSC National Games at the Gaisano City Mall in Bacolod City yesterday. De Luna tamed Negrense Delfin Tugado, who earlier beat Gallego in the semifinals, to win the gold. Tugado picked up the silver as fellow Negrense Sid Tingson from La Carlota City, who scored a big upset in the competition by eliminating Guangzhou Asiad gold medalist Dennis Orcollo in the second round, bowed to John Paul Ortega. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
