NSL bowlfest resumes tonight

The Five-Man Team Bowling Tournament sponsored by NSL will resume tonight with LJP Trading/NPBC aiming its hold of the top spot with three more outings left in the league’s elimination phase.

Going in today’s round, the Gil Villagante LJP/JFM/RJ Stars pin crushers carried a total of 10,809 pinfalls, with a 75 pins advantage over second-running Eco-saver led by Reymund Lopez with 10,734.

NOHS ’70 of Vita de Paula remained in third with 10,575, while Moonlight Inn led by Paul Locsin climbed to fourth overall from sixth with 10,520.

Still hanging on are NOHS All Stars with 10,500; 69Ner’s, 10,392; Dolar Surveying Office, 10,288; NOHS ’95 and Company, 10,263, and Financier, 10,248.

Gaudy Gaylan’s  group 69Ner’s kept the team’s highest single and triple with 592 and 1,628 balls, respectively.

In the individual contest, Joe De Leon of NOHS ’70 holds the highest pinning record with 93, as Edjie Balayo and Jam Morales of NPBC registered the highest single and triple with 146 and 391, respectively.*HLG
