The spotlight will be focused once again on the fast rising boxing talents from Top Prime Stable as they invade Canlaon City in Negros Oriental today to see action in the “Boxing Blow by Blow @ Canlaon” at the Canlaon City gym.
Jerry Nardo, the undefeated prospect of TPS leads the pack against tough veteran Jaime Barcelona from Malaybalay, Bukidnon in their 10-round brawl at the featherweight division (126 lbs).
The boxer from Escalante City carries with him a recent TKO win against Jonathan Barcelona, the younger brother of Jaime.
Jonathan, this time, will be facing another Top Prime pug, Jason Egera from Siaton, Negros Oriental in a six-rounder, RhayRhay Guanzon of Bacolod City will duel against Jun Morano of Surigao City in eight rounds. Both fights will be in the bantamweight division (118 lbs).
The boxing spectacle in Canlaon is under the supervision of Games and Amusement Board and will also feature eight amateur bouts among boxers from Bacolod and Canlaon.
The event is sponsored by the Canlaon City government in line with its 44th Charter Day Anniversary on July 2, under the leadership of Mayor Jimmy Jayme Clerigo.*NAB
