UNO-R Batch ’91 sets reunion

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos High School Batch '91 will hold its 20th year class reunion tomorrow, at the school campus, at UNO-R in Bacolod City, a press release from organizers said.

A thanksgiving mass will be celebrated at the St. Nicholas de Tolentine Church at 5 p.m., followed by dinner at the UNO-R Main Lobby at 7 p.m. A party with an acoustic live band will follow at 8 p.m. onwards, it also said.

The event will also serve as a kick-off activity of the batch's preparation for its Silver Anniversary in 2016, the press release said.

The Class 1991 alumni officers are: president – Reynard Kho Ortigosa, vice president – Francis Mabayag III, secretaries – Rejoy de Asis-Kwon and Ma. Christine Papasin-Bayona, treasurer – Mercy Grace de Guzman, auditor – Ailyn Firmeza, funds solicitors – Laurence Marxlen dela Cruz, Renante Musang, and Erwin Ray Rodrigazo, business manager – Ritzel Ramirez-Sombito, and public relations officer – Erwin Ray Rodrigazo, the press release added.*

CENECO conducts
outreach programs

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. is conducting series of outreach programs in the different barangays, not only within Bacolod City, but also in the cities of Silay, Talisay, Bago, municipalities of Murcia and Don Salvador Benedicto, in Negros Occidental, a CENECO press release said.

“Alagaran sa Barangay” is one of the activities that brings the electric cooperative closer to its member-consumers to educate and update them on vital information. It is also a venue for its member-consumers to present queries and concerns they have, the press release said.

It also said CENECO is carrying out medical missions that provide free consultation and medicines. It also promotes healthy and fit lifestyle to its member-consumers, as well as it gives better nutrition especially to the children of the new generation, the press release added.*
