Eco-saver and LJP Trading/RJ Stars NPBC kept the 1-2 punch in the ongoing 2nd NSL 2011 Five-Man Team Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The leading Eco piloted by Reymund Lopez carried a six-round output of 9,095 pinfalls for an average of 1,515.83 per game.

Gil Villagante’s LJP took the No. 2 slot with 9,034 balls followed by Dolar Surveying Office with 8,972.

Caribbean Resort has 8,943, RJ Stars/NPBC, 8,927; NOHS All Stars, 8,835; 69Ner’s, 8,556 and Knights of Columbus – Bata Council, 7,959.

Hostilities will resume at 6 tonight.

Meanwhile, the 10th Suppliers Friendship Cup Open Trio Bowling Tournament unfolds this Friday, at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.

Games will start after the 6 p.m. registration of the participating teams.

Negros Professional Bowlers Club/AIM Fitness Gym is also planning to hold a two-day “Open Trio Invitational Bowling Tournament tentatively set on Sept.10 and 11 at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

The event is open to all bowling enthusiasts in Negros and Panay.*HLG
