DLNHS softbelles suffer setback
in 2011 Little League Phil series

While the Juniors of the Domingo Lacson National High School softball team cruised to its fourth win at the expense of Caloocan, the Seniors squad suffered a setback in the hands of Cavite, 4-5, in the 2011 Little League Philippine Series held in Lipa City yesterday.

After registering two straight wins, the DLNHS Seniors failed to outplay the Cavite girls who displayed an outstanding performance in the game yesterday.

While it was the first loss of DLNHS in the tournament and it remains as one of the favorites to win the championship after beating powerhouse ILLAM, 11-7, and Antipolo, 7-2, a sweep by Cavite of its remaining games will put the team on the top spot and overturn the expectations of the team from Bacolod.
