Department of Public Works and Highways led in the ongoing Bacolod City National High School Class ’73 Five-Man Team organized Open Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.
The DPWH led by Paul Locsin Jr., is now on top with 4,495 pinfalls in three outings.
NOHS All Stars headed by Romel Niepes occupied the second position with 4,449 closely tailed by NPBC LJP Trading of Gil Villagante with 4,445.
Erstwhile topnotcher Dolar Surveying Office/Lacsonians fell to fourth with 4,438.
Rounding out the 9-team pack are Eco-saver, 4,361; 69Ner’s, 4,334; NOHS Class ’70, 4,310; BCHS ’79, 4,196, and BCHS Class ’73, 4,190.
Competition will resume tonight at 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Inter-school Alumni Bowling Tournament and Open Trio Bowling Championship hosted by Sharp Phils. will open May 11 at the New Top’s Millennium Plaza Alley in Bacolod City.
