Degamo marks
b’day tomorrow

BY JUANCHO GALLARDE

Governor Roel Degamo is asking for good health, sound mind and body on his 45th natal day tomorrow and, from the people of Negros Oriental, their help through prayers that his administration will be able to deliver the services needed.

He added that they can also text him through the program “i-text mo kay Degamo” their ideas and suggestions.

He thanked the Sangguniang Panlungsod for approving his request for P80 million recently for the purchase of heavy equipment needed in the implementation of programs and projects for Negrenses.

The first tranche of P45 million was also approved.

Degamo was expected to confer with Liberal Party bigwigs during the fiesta in La Libertad yesterday.

Former Senator Mar Roxas and Department of Interior and Local Government Sec. Robredo were invited by Rep. Jocelyn Limkaichong (Neg. Or. 1st District) to attend the fiesta celebration.

Degamo reaffirmed his commitment to support the administration of President Benigno Aquino III without necessarily transferring from one political party to another.*JG
