NEDA ok’s ‘Kalahi’ funds

The National Economic Development Authority has approved the continuation of the multi-million Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, a government press release said.

The NEDA said that P104 million from the World Bank has been approved for Kalahi-CIDSS, which has helped bring projects to underdeveloped communities in the country.

Some towns in Negros Occidental have been recipients of Kalahi-CIDSS outputs like organic farm technology transfer and farm equipment.*
