The Bacolod City government will hold an on-the-spot poster making contest on June 9, in line with the celebration of the 112th Philippine Independence Day, at SM City Event Center, a City Hall press release said.

It is open to high school students or out-of-school-youth aged 14 to 18 years.

Contest entry forms are available at the City Tourism Office, ground floor of the New Government Center or at the Sangguniang Kabataan Office of every barangay. Registration for the contest will start June 3 to June 7, the press release said.

The top three winners will receive a certificate of participation and cash prize of P2,000, P1,500, and P1,000, respectively, and P200 each will be given to the top 10 consolation prize winners, the press release said.

All winning entries will become part of the 112th Independence Day Exhibit at the New Government Center
