Bacolod City Police officer-in-charge, Senior Supt. Celestino Guara, yesterday said investigators of the 10 police stations will undergo a refresher course Friday at the Bacolod Government Center.

Through the refresher course, Guara said participants will be reminded of the proper procedures in conducting investigation. The course will be conducted by personnel from Police Regional Office-6 and the city prosecutors.

“The refresher course is not exclusive for investigators alone as those who want to become investigators can also attend,” Guara said.

He also said that they have just completed a seminar for the chief of police and investigators regarding the writ of amparo and writ of habeas corpus, which was conducted by the personnel from the BCPO legal department.

Meanwhile, Guara said there are no policemen in Bacolod providing security to politicians and businessmen without the proper authorization.
