to boost Bacolod dev’t

BY CHRYSEE SAMILLANO

“The true essence of our celebration during June 12, must be the attainment of a better country for all Filipinos,” Bacolod congressman-elect Dr. Anthony Golez Jr. said at the program for the 112th Independence Day celebration in Bacolod City Saturday, said.

Golez, who was guest of honor, said “In our own little way, we can also contribute towards that goal and we must start in our city by setting aside politics and by providing services and development and by instilling discipline in everyone.”

On his first day in Congress, he said he will file five important bills which include the division of Bacolod into two districts, the modernization of the regional hospital, the provision of PhilHealth for everyone, the development of a coastal road from Sibucao to Sum-ag, and the creation of a Department of Migration office that will handle matters or issues related to Filipinos working abroad.moremoremore
