Police Station 3 named
‘most citizen friendly’

Bacolod City Police Station 3 was named as the Most Citizen Friendly police station in the city at the close of the 15th Police Community Relations month celebration of the Bacolod City Police Office recently, a press release said yesterday.

Police Station 3, headed by Chief Insp. Alexander Ermeo, bested nine other police units for bringing the police closer to the people through various activities within their area, like holding symposiums in the barangays and schools; feeding programs; clean-up drives; training and strengthening the barangay peace keeping action team’s and organizing sports related activities.

Ermeo, the outgoing station chief, said, “It is with great pride that we were chosen as the most citizen friendly police station and I have to commend my boys for doing a great job and at the same time I’m thanking the community as well for their unwavering support to us”.

Ermeo is now the Chief of the Police Community Relations Branch of Bacolod City Police Office.

Police Officer 1 Feliciano Ricardo Sumogat III, PCR PNCO of Police Station 3 was awarded as the “Best PCR PNCO” for 2010.

Certificates of Appreciation were given to Pastors Arcon Marin of Hillside Evangelical Church; Paquito Padilla and Lemuel Lusoc of Downtown Christian Church and Benito Pakingking; Young Adventist League of the Seventh Day Adventist Church; Bacolod Crime Stoppers Incorporated; Bantay Bayan Foundation Incorporated and the Community Movement and Reaction against Crime and Illegal Drugs Incorporated.*
