Nine young ladies are vying for the Sinigayan Queen title in a pageant which will be held at the City Plaza  8 tonight through the efforts of the Sagay Jaycees.

The candidates are Rena May Ofquila, 17, a Nursing freshman at Riverside College; Marion Antiquiera, 21, a Tourism freshman at La Consolacion College; Reah Elmission, 17, a senior at Bato National High School;

Ellithia Mae Dusong,16, a fourth year high school student of Mt. Carmel College; Mary Jehn Matavia, 19, a graduate of the Cedar Institute of Computer Technology; Sheena Yee, a Nursing sophomore at San Agustin Bacolod;

Rena Mae Canoy, 18; Angela Marie Ganong, 17, also a CSAB Nursing sophomore; and Analou Ogan, a second year Nursing coed of the University of St. La Salle.

The winner, who will succeed Margaret bantiling, a Nursing senior at Riverside, will receive P20,000 while the two runners-up will get P15,000 and P10,000 respectively. .
