Just about half an hour from Bacolod City is a cool weekend hideaway where families spend relaxing moments communing with nature or swimming in the pool.

Buro-buro in Barangay Alangilan, about 15 kms. from the city, provides visitors with opportunities to frolic on the cool waters and explore the natural surroundings. The place is green with flowering and ornamental plants – nothing fancy – just plush and verdant ambience that substantiates the truth of simplicity as sheer source of joy and beauty.

Visitors hear the symphony of birds accented by the rustle of the brook and the song of gaming fowls raised nearby.

On a cloudy day, the horizon is a picture of contrasting hues with a mountain peak at the background adding a touch of majesty to the rustic scene.
