| Blessing at USLS
The Angel’s Center DelaSalle or the School for Special Children was blessed and inaugurated at the University of St. La Salle-Integrated School Prep Area in Bacolod City, recently.
Bro. Ray Suplido, university president, cut the ceremonial ribbon with Dr. Annabel Balor and USLS-IS Principal Pica Limas. University chaplain Fr. Ronald Quijano officiated at the blessing rites.
Education student Melanie Vargas led the invocation and sang the Pambansang Awit, followed by the welcoming of guests by Dr. Balor, Dean of the College of Education.
The center is a new project of the College of Education.
Bro. Ray gave the remarks of circumstance, followed by a special message by Elsa Leonardia, first ASP President-Bacolod Chapter.
Prof. O. Dañocup and Bro. Ray unveiled the marker, and Mr. and Mrs. Rommel Sancho gave a response.
Inside the center is the academic area, a quiet room, room for special activities, rest and snacks area, and a circle room or dressing area.
After Pica Limas’ closing remarks, delicious merienda was shared by everybody.
Remember: “Call God and He will answer you. God will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”*
