PCCCI vows support
to Capitol projects

A group of Filipino-Chinese businessmen pledged to support the provincial government during their courtesy call on Gov. Isidro Zayco at the Capitol early this week.

Zayco welcomed the officials of the Philippine-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Negros for 2008 to 2009 headed by their president, Jet Li.

Other officers are with Kim Tan, vice president; Johnny Tan, secretary; Lucio Ang, treasurer; and Joseph Sy, Henry Lee, Wen Ming Tsai, Tony Sy and Alfredo Yulo, directors.

Their advisers are Andres Valencia, Lorenzo Cordova and Teofilo Ponce Sr.

PCCCI Inc. was founded by a group of successful Chinese businessmen under the leadership of Dr. John Co and Anson Tan.

It aims to protect and safeguard the interests of its members; cooperate with the government to promote the Philippine-China Trade and Investments; cooperate with the government to implement national policies, laws, rules and regulations governing the business in the Philippines; follow national policy to promote Philippine-China relationship and promote industry and commerce as well as economic prosperity.*
