The opening of the Sidlakan Tabo will be at 7 p.m., followed by a Balak competition on the theme “kabilin,” traditional dance and music competition, with indigenous food available to the public.
The Balagtasan group from the National Culture and the Arts Council of the Philippines is coming to Negros Oriental, committee chairman Carmen Cabrera said.

Meanwhile, Macias approved the request to hold the “karambola” of fighting cocks as an additional feature of the culmination program.
Macias stressed that betting is strictly prohibited, but the “karambola” should not be considered as a precedent, but as an activity that pays tribute to a Filipino culture.
Macias promised to allocate P500,000 worth of projects for the winning local government units in the “karambola”.*JG
