Top Convergys official to
visit Manila centers
 

A top official of Convergys Corp., which recently opened its ninth call center in the Philippines in Bacolod City, is scheduled to visit Manila shortly to look into the company’s local operations, a press release from Convergys said. 

 Andrea Ayers, new president of Customer Management, will attend strategic planning sessions with local executives and visit six of the company’s Metro Manila sites.

She will be welcoming at Convergys One, the company’s Philippine headquarters, by Marife Zamora, Convergys vice president and country manager.

Ayers has been with Convergys for more than 18 years and recently as a Business Unit president, she has led new business development efforts  for Convergys in the Government, Healthcare, Retail, and Financial Services markets.  She also currently heads the company’s new Relationship Technology Management line of business.

 Convergys, whose headquarters is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, has 13,000 employees in Manila, Cebu, and Bacolod, making it one of the largest multi-client contact center operations in the Philippines.

It is two-time recipient of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority’s Outstanding Employer award and has also won Exporter of  the Year award in the Large Enterprise category and  the Philippine Quill Award for employee communications, the press release added.*
