IN HIMAMAYLAN
Franco relieves cop chief
BY GILBERT BAYORAN

Another police chief in Negros Occidental was relieved from his position May 5 for still unknown reason, police records show.

Senior Supt. Rosendo Franco, provincial police director, yesterday confirmed the relief of Supt. Jomil John Trio as Himamaylan police chief, although he did not elaborate further.

The relief of Trio came almost three weeks after Franco also relieved Senior Inspector Raymond Maningo from his position as La Castellana police chief, in response to negative feedbacks in the performance of his job.

Chief Inspector Alan Servida has replaced Trio who was designated as chief of the Negros Occidental police Special Operations Group.

Senior Inspector Rico Santotome, who was also replaced by Trio as SOG chief, has been designated as commander of the Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

Senior Inspector Argel Ancheta also re-assumed the command of the Pontevedra Police Station from Inspector Rose Mary Gaspillo-Pico, who is now serving as the deputy police chief of La Carlota City.*GPB
