Coffee brand marks 70th year
For Filipinos, simple moments become special ones when shared over a cup of coffee, a press release from Nescafé said.
There is something about this coffee product that turns everyday moments into special ones. With a warm cup of it, a routine stop being a tedious chore but transforms into a much anticipated activity, an opportunity to share, to commune and to get things done.
For Maso Diez, a member of the band Hotdog which made waves across the club scene in years past for their “Manila Sound,” Mark Perry Badilla, a graphic artist for a multinational firm, and Barangay Captain Teddy Calaunan of West Crame, a day is never complete without their Nescafé moments, the press release said.
Diez said a cup of this coffee brand infuses her with the energy needed for a good performance; for Badilla, who is engaged in the daily grind of corporate routine “coffee provides one the opportunity to gather your colleagues in a meeting that hardly seems like work and brings out some of the best ideas”; and for Calaunan, being in public office entails a lot of duties, and that, he has to deal with different people everyday and having this coffee product in his office provides this much-needed break from a too serious attitude towards work.
As Nescafé celebrates its 70th year, Diez, Badilla, and Calaunan are looking forward to more special moments shared with colleagues and friends, the press release added.*
