Beach bash

Think of Annette Funicello and Bobby Darin.  Visualize Baywatch with Pamela Anderson.  Speak of sun, sea and skin!  …and that would describe the recent beach bash at Punta Bulata Resort this weekend.

There was the birthday party of eligible beach bachelor Abes Zayco.  I haven’t seen so many lovely girls with legs for miles and hunky dudes that made a splash in the infinity pool with their brawns, leaving their brains to bleach in the sun.  DBF’s (de Buena Familias, c’mon…) put on their skimpy beachwear and from that time on, there was no class divide between heavenly bodies and gorgeous tans. 

Jetting in from Imperial Manila were Abe’s Lopez cousins — children of mom Miren’s sisters, Geraldine L. Aguirre and Lingling L.Quiroz.  Also greeting the bday boy were his schoolmates and friends of brothers Ronald and Tomas.  Sister Viki couldn’t make it since she’s in Paris, doing her French studies, a top scholar of the French Embassy and Alliance Française de Manille.  Darling, believe me, there were royalettes all over the place!  Proud parents, Bomber and Miren Zayco gave the credit to their children for making the affair a complete sell-out!
