Posting a two-digit lead in the first quarter behind Chua’s inspired performance, the transport guys almost squandered their advantage as Frederick Ong and Ricky Chua combined forces for Sweet Crystal to even the score at 48-all at halftime.

In the third quarter, JSY exploited its height advantage and with Militante displaying his all-around game, led a 35-13 third quarter breakaway to restore the lead on their side.

With Kenderson Hao contributing 11 points, Stephen Tan hitting two 3-point shots and Michael Miranda converting 6 markers, JSY kept the pursuing Sweet Crystals at bay to win the ballgame.
