Aside from the wide assortment of cards, and mother’s day gifts available at SM, pampering booths that offer treat for mothers will be set up from May 6-11 during mall hours at the mall’s Northwing Event Centre, an SM press release said.

A minimum purchase of P300 at any SM store will entitle one to a free back massage from Diva Day Spa, makeup and hair curling and straightening from Watsons, brow threading and 50 percent discount on haircut for mother and child tandem by David’s Salon, and demo of all JML products by SM Department Store.

A Mom and Me Look-A-Like Photo Contest will also be held. Interested participants must present a minimum single receipt of P300 from any SM store and a 5R photo of mom and child, not below 4 years old. Prizes include P7,000, P5,000, and P3,000 worth of SM Gift Certificates for the first, second and third place winners, respectively.  

A Mom and Kids Show, Mommy Talks and Cooking Demo on May 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Event Centre will also be held.

Ed Malata and Charles Tan will also perform live for a Special Tribute to Moms on May 10 from 6 p.m. onwards at the Northwing Fiesta Strip.

There will also be a Super Mom Variety Show with Moms-On-The-Ramp on May 11 at 4 p.m. at the Event Centre, the press release added.*
