‘B’ sugar remains
above P1,000

Prices of domestic or “B” sugar remained above  P1,000 per Lkg this week, with Victorias Milling Co., Lopez Sugar Corp., Sagay Central Inc., selling their stocks at P1,125.

At the March 27 bidding, Central Azucarera de Don Pedro sugar  was also sold at a P1,125 high but eventually went down to P1,112, while Bukidnon Sugar Milling Corp. registered the lowest price at P1,075.

Central Azucarera de La Carlota and Binalbagan-Isabela Sugar Company sold their stock at a high of P1,089 and it was a P1,086 low for BISCOM.

Passi I disposed its sugar at P1,118 while Passi II settled for P1,097.18 bid price.

Hawaiian-Philippine Company, registering a total volume of P12,965.63 sold its stocks at P1,095.88 (high) and P1,093.01 (low) while Bais released its sugar at P1,101.18 (high) and P1,088.15 (low).

Dacongcogon and SONEDCO did not take part in this week’s bidding.*NAB
