| Kara’s graduation party
She’s bubbly and lively. She’s spunky and sensitive. She is a typical 16-year-old teenager – “sugar and spice and everything nice”. Loren Kara Leonardia, a high school graduate of St. Scholastica’s Academy, was feted by her loving aunts and uncles at a graduation bash at L’ Fisher Hotel, where the guests had gathered to await the arrival of the teenager from the SSA’s graduation ceremonies.
It was supposed to be a surprise party for Kara, but when the hotel faxed the menu for her Tita Ninfa’s approval – as luck would have it – it was Kara who received it! That blew the surprise!
Her loving parents, Mayor Bing and Elsa Leonardia, were so happy and proud of their daughter’s achievements, as they went up the stage to pin her medals on their precious little girl. For one so young, Kara has already accomplished a lot, being an honor student in her school. Her artistic talents began to show at an early age. They say it probably comes from her genes. A relative, Jess Ayco, was a celebrated artist whose paintings have since become collectors’ items. Her uncle, Joe Leonardia, is a well-known fashion designer and artist. On her third year in high school, Kara won the Citywide Poster Making Contest sponsored by LCC’s Arfien Department. It was then that her parents realized how gifted their daughter was.
But beyond the talents that God has given her, Kara possesses a kind and compassionate heart. She is a loving daughter to her parents and a caring sister to her older brother, EJ, whose eyes light up whenever he sees his doting sister. When she sees older ladies about to cross the street, Kara hurries to their side to help them carry their things across the street.
Despite her Dad’s popularity and fame, Kara remains modest and focused on her goals. Just like her mother Elsa, Kara has a practical no-nonsense attitude in life. Her ambition is to take up Graphic Animation Computer Digital Arts where she can use her artistic talents to the fullest. We know how delightful Kara is. Her little nieces and nephews idolize her and follow her wherever she goes.
Good luck Kara and remember, “Your uniqueness is your magic”!*
