‘Summer’s filled with beer’
The pleasant hop aroma, well-balanced distinct flavor of San Miguel Pale Pilsen is the perfect match for the hot summer months, a press release from the management said.
Three drinking spots spread across the country seem to have perfected the art of serving up ice cold beer. Bak-Bak in Davao, Dayrit’s Kitchen and Grill in Olongapo City and Zone 360 in Cebu City are packing the crowds in.
Known for its homespun recipes, Olongapo’s Dayrit’s Kitchen and Grill is becoming just as famous for serving up a beer that’s colder than ice.
Zone 360, part of the famous Grill Avenue in Cebu, is also a hot spot especially during summer. Its best selling pulutan, “Dynamite” peppers wrapped in deep-fried lumpia wrapper, is often served with an ice-cold bottle San Miguel Pale Pilsen, the press release said.
Bak-Bak owner Federico Barco says, in summer, his place is filled up to the rafters and it’s because of how they serve their beer -- at temperatures ranging from -2 to -4 degrees centigrade, the press release added.*
