NN unveils refurbished
‘St. Joseph the Worker’

Negros Navigation introduced yesterday to the public the newly-refurbished St. Joseph the Worker vessel, equipped with more venues for onboard conferences.

Renovated to suit the preference of sea travelers from Negros Occidental and other points of destination in the country, Jose Manuel Mapa, NN’s executive vice president-Passage Business Division, said the company has invested millions in the renovation of the vessel.

The conference rooms he said can be use for seminars, workshops, meetings and planning, ideal for those who travel as a group such as those from the local government units.

Holding meetings as you cruise makes up for a pleasurable trip that only Negros Navigation can provide, NN Bacolod City manager Grace Golez said.

The modern facilities on board the NN vessels strengthen the company’s claim as a “floating hotel and conference venue,” she added.

Negros Navigation is one of the oldest domestic shipping companies in the Philippines.

For the past decades, NN led the domestic shipping industry in pioneering programs focused on continuously elevating the quality of shipping services to world class standards.*NAB
