Lourdes Montilla Rojas pulled all the stops to host an intimate and elegant dinner at her posh and luxurious residence for lovely ladies of class and distinction, Judy Araneta Roxas and her sister Baby Araneta.

The A-list guests (mostly family and close friends), gathered around the poolside where tables were set for the al fresco feast. The weather was perfect for candlelight dinner under the stars as a cool refreshing breeze kept blowing gently. Lourdes’ hubby Nene Rojas, welcomed the guests with glasses of delicious red and white wine from his vast wine cellar collection.

Seen among the guests, were former Senator John Osmeña, jet-setter socialite Minnie Osmeña, who came with Hanneli and Cristy Montilla, Suzzette and Boy Agustin, Ditas Montilla and her affable British husband, Peter Henson, and so many more.

Food guru and outrageous raconteur, Boy Montilla, kept the ladies in stitches all evening with his shocking comments and racy tales (amazing for a guy who recently suffered a massive heart attack!).

Ahhh the food! The buffet table groaned with heavenly Visayan cuisine: KareKare (specially prepared by good friend Heny Escay) with Bagoong Tagalog, an absolutely divine chicken adobo dish (from the Montilla family heirloom recipe), Lumpia Thai, Boneless Bangus, Lengua with mushrooms, succulent crabs bathed in coconut milk, and the famous Negros chicken inasal by Jun and Noemi Gonzaga.

Crispy lechon added a fitting touch to the absolutely sumptuous meal. Everyone enjoyed the delectable dishes cooked to perfection as the bar overflowed with fine wine, high-end booze and ice-cold beer, natch!
