Alimon rules qualifiers

Melot Alimon of Alimon Steel/CENECO emerged as the top qualifier in the battle of the top 10 bowlers in the 1st Villamonte Mix Trio Bowling Tournament at the Lopue’s East Bowling Center in Bacolod City.

Alimon posted 110.92 pinfalls average per game followed by Art Palo, of St. Joseph High School BAGOL ’84 with 108.10.

Challenging the top seed are Irnie Diaz, of 5665 Shooters with 107.30; Jack Palermo, SJHS-LA Salle Class ’78, 106.64; Boy Wingpo, SJHSTeam BRYCE, 106.42;

Nerio Regollo, Mulo Car Aircon Services, 106.20; Fred Mapano, Brgy. Villamonte Council, 105.36; Jumelyn De La Cruz, Blue Knights, 103.75; Elmer Liboon, SJS-LS Class ’78, 103.73, and Eric Buyco, SJHS Bagol ’84, 103.40.

Action will start at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, the tournament record holders are Fred Mapano and Ranelo Wingpo in highest single and triple with 158 and 373 balls, as SJHS Blue Knights registered the team’s highest single and triple at 363 and 974 pinfalls, respectively.*HLG
