Police apprehend 
robbery suspects

A man facing four counts of robbery and qualified theft cases was arrested Friday in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

Police apprehended Gaspar Empiales of Brgy. Basak, Guihulngan.

Guihulngan City Police Station operatives composed of  SPO1 Nasser Intud SPO1 Archer Dupio, PO3 Walden Flores, PO3 Abner Delara and PO2 Francio Villagonzalo served a warrant of arrest against Empiales, for a robbery case under Judge Rosendo Bandal Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 64.

Police records show that the suspect has three cases pending before RTC Branch 64, all for qualified theft, and with corresponding bail bonds of P24,000, P20,000, and P 18,000, respectively.

Empiales is now detained at the Guihulngan City PNP detention cell.

Meanwhile, Bais City Police nabbed a robbery suspect at about 11:45 a.m. Sunday, in a hot pursuit operation in Barangay Tagpo. Arrested was Jose Kadusale, 37, married, of Sitio Nalandan, in the village.

Margie Acedes, of the same place, told the police that the suspect entered her house 11 p.m. Saturday, armed with unknown caliber of a handgun and divested her of P20,000 in cash.*RG
