Kuppa and J5 Inter Sales prevailed over separate opponents Sunday in the NOBC-MCX Basketball Tournament at the University of St. La Salle-Integrated School covered court in Bacolod City.

Kuppa leaned on Arrom Aledron and Mark Binguan to down Biosoft, 98-89.

Aledron, who played for the USLS Stingers in the last NOPSSCEA tournament, came through with 23 points, highlighted by five triples. Binguan added 16.

Mark Cueva paced Biosoft with 18 points.

Gerald Abrot posted 28 points as J5 triumphed over Dotskie, 109-105.

Abrot’s output included six triples, while Ryan Concha added 18 points. Leo Abao contributed 16 points. Peewee Demonteverde had 18 points for Dotskie. *CPT
