Dynamic booters
rise with 4-0 win

BY CEDELF TUPAS

Dynamic Builders zoomed to the top of the table for the first time with a 4-0 blanking of Los Buenos in the Villa Valderrama 9-a-side football tournament at the Villa Valderrama pitch in Bacolod City.

Two goals from Ricardo Garcia and one each from former national player Ali Rojas-Go and Mel Javellana put the outcome beyond doubt for the Dynamic booters of Ricky Yanson, who hiked their record to 19 points.

Dynamic actually had Bacolod United to thank for hastening its rise to the top of the six-team tournament.

United, made up of former Negrense standouts, once again held erstwhile leader Europa-LRY to another draw, 3-3. The two teams also played to a 2-2 draw in the first round with United equalizing twice.

United’s Jonathan Esmolo, Ronnie Tornilla and Simon Hulleza cancelled out goals from Tom Sproten, Eliseo Palomo and Ian Treyes.

The result left Leorey Yanson’s squad, leader for the past two weeks, at second with 18 points, while Bacolod United, which has taken just four points in its last three games stayed at fourth.

Trimaxi snapped a two-game losing streak, venting its ire on Los Futboleros, 4-3.

This one did not come easy as Trimaxi needed a superb performances from FJ Serios, who struck twice, Troy Park and Noah Sajo to offset the goals of Rogelio Espinosa and Botoy Elloso.*CPT
