National coach Norman Fegidero Jr. said local players Robert Cañedo, Joel Ballo-Allo, Lemuel Unabia, Arnie Pasinabo and Floriano Pasilan Jr. were included in the 26-man roster and will enter training camp in Iloilo beginning March 24.

Fegidero said former University of St. La Salle goalkeeper Archie Bayquin is also invited to the training camp, although he was unable to join the initial training sessions at the Ultra last week.

The Negros Occidental secondary boys’ football squad is bent on ending the Iloilo reign in the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association meet, which kicks off March 13 in San Jose, Antique.

The team, mentored by Tata Parel and George Jaranilla, is undergoing intensive training at the Negros Occidental Football Association Regional Football Training Center in Bago City, a press release from the NOFA said.

NOFA consultant Maor Rozen Feldman, who flew in from Spain to conduct trainings in the province, is also helping out the team along with goalkeeping coach Remando Baldava Jr. and John Robert Mendoza.
