‘Buntis’ Day set Monday
Activities for pregnant women on the theme “Aling Buntis, Saludo Kami Sayo” will be conducted by the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society - Negros Occidental Chapter, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, at SM City Bacolod, a press from the P.O.G.S. said.
The group headed by Dr. Luz Altarejos will give free prenatal checkups, vitamins, and other medical tests, as well as hold a raffle and Search for Talented Buntis.

Summer dance
workshop April 7
Dwight Rodrigazo’s Dance Pull, a School of Performing Arts, will hold its second Summer Dance Workshop, April 7 to May 17 at its studio, at 2nd floor, Carmen Building, Lizares Avenue, Bacolod City, a press release from organizers said.
Classes offered are Classical Ballet, Contemporary Dance, Jazz, Street Grooves (Hip Hop), Breakdance and Choreographers’ Workshop.
The choreographers’ workshop is designed for aspiring choreographers and teachers. The impro-compo and movement analysis program will explore elements of the choreographers’ craft and of creating and discussing choreographic studies, the press release said.
Rodrigazo is a former principal soloist, choreographer and dance teacher of Ballet Philippines. He studied composition and movement analysis at the Brumachon Centre Choreographique National de Nantes, France.
He is the founder and former Associate Artistic Director and Chief Choreographer of Airdance Philippines, and a dance workshop conductor of the British Council, Cultural Center of the Philippines, and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, the press release said.

FBC has 57 new nurses
Fellowship Baptist College in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, ranked number 1 among all nursing schools in the province, with 73 percent passing percentage, a press release from the school said.
Fifty-seven out of 78 FBC nursing graduates passed the nurse licensure examinations given Dec. 1 and 2, 2007.
