Blessing, prom

Fathers Mitch Guadalupe of Doña Juliana Parish and Gigi Caraig of Mountain View Parish officiated at the house blessing for the Lim and Manaloto siblings, recently.

It was a double celebration as it was also a welcome party for balikbayan friends from California, L.A. and London.

Dinner was prepared and catered by Zetes Villo. Kudos to Echay Lizares for wonderful interior and outside designs.

Students at the University of Negros Occidental Recoletos-Bacolod had a grand time preparing for their J-S Prom, held recently at L’Fisher Hotel.

Masquerade was the theme of the night, and it was a delightful affair.

After the delicious dinner, the students danced the cotillion, the Cha-Cha, Samba Tango and Swing.

Proclaimed Lord and Lady of the Night were John Elijah Nolasco and Myka Dadivas. Other awardees were Ina Mac Abogada and Jun Mark Ibe --  Sweethearts of the Night; John Francis Maravilla and Lorena Javellana -  Best Masquerade Costume; Mary Lourd Zamora --  Most Dazzling Lady;  and Gallen Benjamin and Keeshia Ababao -- Masquerade Darlings.

The reading of the Last Will and Testament of the Seniors and the turnover of the Key of Responsibility by Senior Class governor Helen Recudo to Junior Class governor Keeshia Ababao highlighted the event.*

Remember: Happiness is something we create in our mind. Be a messenger of happiness.
