Siquijor PNP conducts moral recovery program

The Maria Police Office in Siquijor province headed by Inspector Roy Awisan conducted dialogs on  Moral Recovery Program, and the ill-effects of illegal drugs in the 22 barangays of the town, recently.

Lectures and discussions were given to barangay folk and officials, in coordination with the PNP Values Formation Council in Region 7, aimed at instilling in them ideals that are Christ and character-centered, nationalistic, and environmental friendly.

Awisan said the program is under the movement that aims to mobilize all Filipinos for nation-building, through the practical exercise of human values in their daily lives.

It also seeks to empower the people, the poor, the middle class and the rich through the sustained application of human values and a code of collective existence, he added.*RG
