Zayco to look into BRIS delay

Acting Governor Isidro Zayco yesterday thanked the numerous groups that have come to Negros Occidental to provide medical assistance for the poor.

He cited groups from Connecticut, the Lions Club from Phoenix in Arizona, the Aloha Mission from Hawaii, the Urban Angels, the St. Scholastica’s Foundation, and Operation Smile through Hope Foundation headed by Edith Villanueva.

Many Negrenses have availed of their assistance that is why we are very grateful, he said.

These groups even leave medical equipment when they leave, he said, noting that the Aloha mission gave P10 million to provincial government-run hospitals.*
