Officers of the Kabankalan-Ilog “Tindahan Natin” group that sells National Food Authority rice recently held its first induction of officers, mid-year evaluation and general assembly in Mag-aso Falls, Brgy. Oringao, Kabankalan City.

The officers for 2008-2009 are Gladysmyr Diego, chairman; Eugenio Sanchez, vice chairman; Ma. Bella Saraet, secretary; Teodoro Jandoquille, treasurer;  Jasmin Nifras, auditor; Dedith Tremucha and Edgardo Alamon, public information officer, a press release from the group said.

Inducting officer and inspirational speaker was Mayor Pedro Zayco Jr.

The “Tindahan Natin” are all NFA outlet owners, numbering 18 in Kabankalan and nine in Ilog.   They sell NFA rice at P18.25 per kilo, but customers are allowed to buy 10 kilos a week.
