Bacolod online…

Wondering what to write, for you palangginggings, lol…   Well, after some time spent  (t’was the feast of San Juan) decided to have a tan, poolside at the instant escape in the middle of Bacolod City—MassKara dura big-time visitor-friendly gated Palmas del Mar Resort & Residences. 

Looking at my “sosyal” foto files, stumbled on some recent birthdays and specials worthy of note.  Of course, the City of Smiles has been sorely affected by the latest storm, eh, typhoon of verbal barrages from left and right.  Ahh, but then we are aware that there’s the Pacquiao fight in the US of A and our beloved Mayor Bing will be his usual talisman of victory. 

So, bravo to the quick and timely action of our ready Congressman Monico Puentevella and Vice Mayor Thaddeus Sayson for their tandem efforts that made us realize how well run, after all, is our City in the “eye of a storm”.  O, what does that mean?  That we’ve elected into office a team of public servants we could trust our very homes and lives with.  Well, the way I’ve been paying our real-estate taxes — on time, take note.  One rests assured that we’ll get our money’s worth.  Bacolod City taxes zoomed up just as fast as petrol by 100 percent in a span of four years… get what I mean?  That’s for causes like the BAHA group who will get, ehh, dry feet to the tune of (how much do we pay for rented equipment rather than buying it outright?!)  Sumthin’ for our big boys to check, again.

Well, feast your eyes on two Lacson belle-gals who celebrated a year more and some fotos of afternoon get-togethers. Nelly Lacson’s foto with favi nephew Jordan Matti wasn’t focused but gotcha for the traditional royal family pose on the steps of the interior court.  I deeply appreciate those who came for my openhouse for Mama’s birthday.  We didn’t invite anyone but I prepared food to serve the whole day, from brunch (only bakers wake up before 9.) to dinner time. Tita Layette Rosello and Macing Seva phoned a day late, although in our house, everyday is a birthday.
