Continued rise in prices
of fertilizer worries guv
BY MARICAR ARANAS

Governor Emilio Macias II yesterday expressed concern over the continued increase in the prices of fertilizer that he said could possibly adversely affect farmers.

He said  farmers would  suffer the  high price of  farm  inputs   that  might  force them to  stop  tilling  their  lands  and  convert  to  planting other  crops  that  do not need fertilizer.

Macias recently  ordered provincial agriculturist Gregorio Paltinca  to conduct seminars and  workshops  for all  local government  units on  how  to  make organic fertilizer.
