Pimentel also pointed out that Senators Juan Ponce Enrile and Joker Arroyo are also not keen on passing a law extending CARP.

AT PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Enrollment starts today
BY NIDA BUENAFE
Superintendent Rizalino Tortosa of the Negros Occidental Schools Division called on all public school teachers to report to work today as enrolment in public elementary and high schools starts with the annual Brigada Eskwela conducted by all stakeholders to prepare for the opening of classes on June 10.
Tortosa also stressed that no enrolment fee should be collected from students and teachers should not withhold the report cards of those students who failed to settle previous accounts.
He said the report card in the previous year is the major document required for enrolment and teachers should not use it as leverage to collect unsettled dues. |
