Camella Communities will officially launch its first Bacolod development project, Camella Meridian, today at a program to be attended by Senate President Manuel Villar at the L’Fisher Hotel at 5 p.m.
Camella is a company of Vista Land and Lifescapes Inc., the holding firm of the Villar family.
General Manager for Bacolod Tessie Lanot said Camella Meridian is a 27-hectare development project located in Brgy. Mandalagan.

The Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. will receive letters of intent for the sale 146.5-megawatt Panay and 22-MW Bohol diesel power facilities until July 30, it said in a press release.
Interested investor groups are required to pay a non-refundable fee of $2,000 and execute a Confidentiality Agreement and an Undertaking with PSALM. Deadline for submission of these initial requirements is August 1.
Qualified investor groups can conduct their due diligence from 17 July to October 27, the press release said.

The Department of Trade and Industry in Negros Occidental will hold a Seminar-Workshop on Retail and Visual Merchandising for small and medium enterprises on July 21 and 22 at the Governor’s Hall, Provincial Capitol Building in Bacolod City.
DTI Provincial Director Rebecca Rascon said the seminar aims to improve the marketability of SMEs’ products through proper visual presentation techniques.
A well-thought out and strategized product display garners better acceptance versus a poor product display because customers are usually drawn to what they see up front, she said.
