A fun-filled ‘Mr. Bean’ party

It was a fun and enjoyable “Mr. Bean” birthday party for Brandon and Carlo, grandsons of Ricardo and Olivia Yanson, and Romy and Antoinette Ortaliz of New York. Each year, the cousins celebrate their birthdays together in a grand themed party. As they both turned six this year, the cousins chose their favorite character, Mr. Bean.

The entire function room of Santuario de La Salle was filled with colorful balloons and huge picture frames and life-sized figures of the wacky Mr. Bean. Close to 400 guests, mostly composed of their classmates enjoyed the games and surprises. Among the highlights was when the celebrators sang an impromptu duet on stage. Carlo, a jolly kid is the youngest son of Charles and Ginnette Yanson-Dumancas. His first cousin, Brandon, an outgoing kid, is the son of Leo Ray and Pia Yanson. He loves to sing and dance.

Delectable food carts complemented the buffet snacks served. There were individual carts for French fries, ice cream and hotdogs. Everyone went home carrying a bagful of Mr. Bean goodies, which included a stuffed toy, key chains, inflatable life vests, and a wallet.  Come night time, the children’s tables and chairs were changed to roundtables, for a part-two of the celebration, this time involving adults. That night saw another grand bash for celebrators as their titos and titas attended, wishing them a happy, happy birthday and overflowing the gift-corner with gifts of all sizes!
