Emerging basketball standouts Chad Paez, Andy Angodung, Ryan Concha and Eric Uy's carried Probac to its first victory Sunday with an 87-70 dominating performance against BBC in the Class A division of the 8th Tan Kek Pin Memorial Basketball Cup at the Po Hang Gym.

Paez scored 10 points while Angodung, Concha, and Uy delivered nine points apiece and Andrew Billena contributed seven to hold BBC's offense at bay.

University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Ram , Joemarie Bayhon, tried to keep the game going for BBC but his 13 points and Rico Cabatu's 11 markers failed to change the outcome of the play.

BBC will have another chance to register a win in the tournament on Friday when it clashes against Bapro at 8:30 p.m.

On the other hand, the win boosted the confidence of Probac who are bound to meet the other tough squad in Class A which include World of Fun, Province of Negros Occidental , and Talisay Athletic Club which presently topped the standings with a clean 2-0 wins-loss card.

Class B actions during Sunday's matchup saw Davies Paint prevailing over Cafe Breizh, 111-101, in Bracket B while Gentec Atlantic pulled off an 86-82 decision against Sam's Gym in Bracket A.

Air Power System scored its second win in its bracket against Meguiar's Streetwash, 89-81.

Wednesday's game schedule at Po Hang Gym will pit Meguiar's Streetwash against Marko Metals at 7 p.m. and Tamspec against KJ Fairmart-City Savings Bank at 8:30 p.m.*NAB
