Legislative building blessing set

The inauguration of the Negros Oriental Legislative Building  will be held in March, provincial engineer Susano Ruperto said.

The building will house the Sanguniang Panlalawigan session hall, and offices of the Vice Governor, Board Members and staff, and the congressional representatives.

The structure was formerly the Regional Trial Court offices beside the Capitol. Gov. Emilio Macias II said the  new  edifice will provide a  good  ambiance  for  its occupants.

Ruperto  said   they  hope to finish the building by the first  quarter  of   this year.  The  cooling  system will be installed  when some minor  fixtures  are in place, he added.*MA
